More than 25 years providing effective solutions in the field of headhunting, executive selection and leadership development programmes.
With a degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from ESIC, (Madrid, 1991), he started in the world of HR in 1996 in the company ECCO, (now Adecco), where he was first area salesman and then office manager.
In 1998 he became a partner and manager of one of the largest HR consultancy firms in Galicia. There he created and led the headhunting area, in which more than 2,000 processes were carried out both nationally and internationally (Spain, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Czech Republic, etc.).
During this period he also managed large training, skills and leadership development projects for national and international clients.
In January 2022 he founded his own company “Riera y Asociados“, to continue to dedicate himself, this time in a more “boutique ” format, to executive headhunting and the management of leadership development projects and “in company” training.
Since January 2023, he has been the ambassador for Galicia of “Great Place to Work”(https://greatplacetowork.es/), an American multinational and international leader in the identification and certification of the best companies to work for.
He is a Partner and Board Member of the International Search Partners association (ISPA), an important network of European head-hunters.
Diego stands out for developing his work by establishing long-lasting and trusting relationships with clients and candidates, basing his method on honesty, closeness and simplicity.
